Night 2 is in the books. The early round was a mashup of Jayson, Grant and Jeff. Jayson and Grant are part of the Monday night group but ended up playing today. Tyler is traveling, Tom played early and Chris had to drop out of the league, so there is potentially 1 opening for the 6pm time slot if you know someone that wants to play.
So the night started off with Jayson showing up early and visibly excited. He just received his new blacked out TaylorMade P770s. Very nice. Anyway Jayson started off strong as usual but slowed down towards the end to card a 40 for the first week.
Grant had a rather eventful 9 pars in a row. This even par round very easily could have been 5 under par if he had any touch with his putter tonight. Great round though.
Jeff was a bit of a basketcase. He started on the strugglebus and never got off. Carding a non-typical 46. He’ll turn this around really quick I feel.
The later round was finally time for me to play my league round. Joining me was Matt and Josh.
I started off bogey, birdie, birdie but couldn’t keep it together and finished with a 39. Not great but a solid starting point.
Josh’s issues getting off the tee from this summer has continued into the sim. Made some solid shots but ended up with a disappointing 59.
Matt, phew. Matt had a rough night. Matt did have a nice par on the 12th, but a couple 10 bangers on the card tend to make for a long night ulitimately carding a 66.
Jamie and Tyler both need to complete their rounds still and we are looking for 1 more player for the 6pm Wednesday tee time. Scores are updated on the site.
